Kia ora Frankie, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about 10 food items you would take with you if you were going on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
What an awesome list of foods to bring! You have really thought about the aspect of no fridge or freezer, so ka pai for thinking of all of these non-perishable foods.
You have included quite a variety of meal options here. Just by looking at your list, I am able to think of lots of options such as omelettes, salads, flatbreads and even pancakes!
What meals do you think you would cook out of these ingredients?
If I was going on a sea voyage, I would pack dried beans. Dried beans are super easy to prepare and cook, and are a nutrient dense food which are packed full of protein! Plus I think they are delicious which is definitely a bonus!
If we were talking about the foods that we have today, would you change anything on your list?
Quick Tip- I notice your Google Slide is too large and is overlapping the sidebar of your blog. To make sure your Google Slide is the correct size for your blog open the post, click the html button and update the size in the html to width="640" height="380"
Here is a screencast to show you how.
Nga mihi
