DAY 2: UP IN THE AIR

  1. Kia ora Frankie,
These two woman were certainly amazing people especially when you think about the technologies they were using over 100 years ago.
Your Venn Diagram has helped you organise your ideas, next time you could add colours to each circle to make it more appealing to your audience.
The size of the Venn Diagram is too big for your blog, is it a drawing that you have embedded?
I would recommend downloading the drawing as a PNG and inserting it into your blog so it fits better.
    Nga mihi,
    Mark

  2. Kia ora Frankie, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
You have done an awesome job creating this venn diagram which compares the two aviators Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart.
Did you know that Jean Batten was only 16 years old when she had her first flight! That is such a young age to have started her career which shows us how passionate she must have been about flying.
Amelia Earhart was also quite young when she started aviation, having her first flight at the age of 23 years old.
I have always wanted to learn how to fly a plane. I think it would be amazing to be able to fly yourself anywhere in the world!
Have you ever thought about becoming a pilot?
If you could fly anywhere in the world, where would you go?
It has been over 100 years since both Jean and Amelia were born, and things have changed so much in that period of time.
Do you think that in 100 years time the world will be the same as it is now? What kinds of things do you think will be different?

Quick Tip- I notice your Google Slide is too large and is overlapping the sidebar of your blog. To make sure your Google Slide is the correct size for your blog open the post, click the html button and update the size in the html to width="640" height="380"
Here is a screencast to show you how.
    Nga mihi
